Money 2005 will not download statements.

I am having the same issue with 9 accounts. The Update appears to work the
first time I set it up. But after that, nothing.

The banks should be sending & instead of sending & in statements - this
is like XML in that respect. Use of the & should cause the file to fail in
OFX analyzers.

The problem might be the same as mine . If when you have the symbol "&"
anywhere in the banks statement that you are trying to download you will
received corrupted file because money does't reconize that symbol .To find
out just look into your bank satement without downloading into money. You
will have to input by hands all transactions that has the "&" into his titles.

Same problem here with 2005. In fact I came to this group to see if I could
find an answer. My Money stopped taking updates around Dec. 15. I even
tried to change my password but it wouldn't let me do that either. Message
said: "Account setup is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
Frustrating -- considering all the transactions I have for the holidays!
Any help would be appreciated.

Same thing happend to me... My bank/credit card accounts were downloading
just fine... and then one day it stopped... now it says "Update
Unsuccessful"...

any feed back on how to remedy this problem would be appreciated

I have tried for several days to update my accounts that are connected to
their banks. After hitting the sync button up top and waiting, the only
thing that works is the stock updates. None of the bank statement will
download and I get a dialog box stating that the update has failed. I have
tried to delete temporary internet files and even download the statements
directly from the web sites with no results. This problem is different from
the statments downloading but not being able to view them. They just simply
wont download.
