| I had a similar problem in Money 2004 and tried repairing the database, but that wasn't the solution. Try deleting your cookies and temporary internet files. After that, the download came thru nicely. "Dave" wrote: - quote - > Thanks folks for the responses - this is a checking account and refuses > to update (although the bank balance does update). | Thanks folks for the responses - this is a checking account and refuses to update (although the bank balance does update). Other credit cards with other institutions such as Bank One are all fine...so far. Looks like manual download of OFX files is still the way to go <sigh> . Cheers.. |

| Dave, I have had exactly the same problem. It just started a week or so and is affecting three different accounts (all credit cards). I repaired the file in case it was corrupted but the problem came back in the next update. The downloading has worked fine for the last year then all of a sudden this 'ghost transactions' problem started. I am using Money 2004. Anyone else have a solution?? | I can't tell if this is the case or not, but you have to set up savings/checking accounts separately from credit card accounts. So if your 2 working accounts are credit card accounts, go through and do the add new account bit but click bank account and go through the process. I have a credit card with my bank and it is set up like this: <Bank> #1 for savings/checking and <Bank> #2 for my credit card. They are treated like 2 separate institutions in Money, updated separately, etc, even if you access all with the same username and password. |

| Hi, I'm using Money 2005 to download from Citibank - using the automagic update capability rather than manually downloading OFX files. Two of my 3 accounts update fine - but the checking account refuses to add new transactions to my Money statement even though new transaction exist, the Bank balance in Money is updated to accurately reflect the real balance - but no transactions appear. Do I have a setting wrong or is this just busted ? Any help/guidance would be appreciated - thanks Dave |
