Default Re: Passport Sign-on Failure

I am having a problem with my .Net Passport sign-on in Money today. I
continue to get the message that my password or logon name are incorrect,
though I have not changed them. Unfortuneatly I am unable to open Money
until I can figure this out. I sent an email to Microsoft for help. I
assume I will have to find a way to reset both of these, or remove the .Net
Passport sign on outside of Money.
Luckily I just reconciled all my bank accounts and know they agreed with the
bank, so can download from my accounts if I have to start from scratch, but I
kept my mortgage info, etc. in Money, as well as using on-line banking.

I would appreciate it if anyone has any suggestions. I've already tried
everything at:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;331123

Thanks,

Default Passport Sign-on Failure

I had a blow-up with MS Money 2004 Deluxe and Money for Pocket PC today. Although I finally got everything working again after multiple reboots, restores and salvages, the one thing that is not working now is my Passport sign on.

When I attempt to sign-on I get the message that the sign-in attempt was unsuccessful and to please try again. I remember a while back, someone posted a fix for this. It had something to do with deleting or renaming some XML file. Does anyone remember this at all?

Also, do I need to sign-in to Passport to have Money automatically download stock quotes/updates? I'm not using any on-line services through Money.

Thanks,
