Default Re: Customization based on country.

hai ashok

i lived in UAE for 10 years. i used the american version pretty handy. u
don't need any customization. just ignore the tax planner. actually, u may
customize the tax rates to zero, so that much is not a problem.

but, there are no downloads available automatically. u may actually have to
manually enter all cash and check transactions. also any investment
portfolio prices. if u don't have any investments, (don't u have atleast CD
(which is fixed deposit in UAE) and investments back in India? - I am
surprised), U may actually need only an excel spreadsheet.

but money will add value in cashflow and also bills & deposits section.

u may buy the standard version available at UAE. But 2005 Version doesn't
have cashflow so don't buy it. Try to get hold of a US version or UK
version because deluxe versions have life term planner which may help you.

thanks

jay

MS produce customised versions for some Countries but not as far as I know
for the UAE. All you could consider is International English, but the
customisation options are going to be very superficial and certainly won't
allow you to take out the taxes code.
