| Actually you will probably find that it is placed there by design. They want you to subscribe to the web version of Money instead. It appears that they are curtailing the development of the software for a web page. | I do not think it is a BOA issue. I am using a different financial services provider and is experiencing similar problems with duplicate transactions. | I have had Bank of America issues open with Money support and Yodlee. You are correct it is Yodlee that handles Bank of America. I have given up on using the on-line for Bank of America as Yodlee has the following problems: 1) the most recent several days are consistently not downloaded. 2) I can go to the web site and manually download the OFX file faster than performing an "update now" function and get the correct information. 3) Check numbers are not downloaded. 4) the Balance listed is the available balance, not the balance that agrees with the downloaded information. Thus the balance is missing some items that could be included and the items that BoA have listed in the pending section of the web page. 5) Some items being duplicated. I have documented all of this with screen shots that have been sent to both Yodlee and the second (or maybe third level) support at Microsoft. I have an email from one person at Microsoft that suggests I not use Yodlee for Bank of America downloads until Yodlee gets it fixed. Concerning duplicates, I am told that Yodlee uses QIF file format which makes it impossible for Money to recognize them as duplicates. Thus the duplicates problem will not be changed. I also see duplicates when I go to one of my credit cards web sites and download the QIF file from that vendor. Without the OFX format which places a unique transaction id with each download, it is impossible for Money to determine that it was already downloaded. They could assume it but want you to verify it. All in all, I woould not use the automatic download from Bank of America until Yodlee fixes their many problems with BoA. | I also have update # 14.0.120.1105 The first thing I'd like to know is if this is a bug or not. If not, then is there some setting that needs adjusting. -Shawn "Gregg" wrote: - quote - > Happens to me all the time... > I have the most current update... 14.0.120.1105 > "Shawn" <Shawn[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:B09D6D78-AAAD-42CD-B7BF-C981C3C71435[at]microsoft.com... > > I finally got my Bank of America account transactions to download through > > online services. | I finally got my Bank of America account transactions to download through online services. My only gripe is that old transactions which have already been downloaded on a previous day are being re-downloaded along with new transactions every time I perform an update (I do this once a day). When the old transactions are re-downloaded they are matched with existing transactions again and I have to re-accept the transactions. Should this be happening? I thought that Money's logic would prevent old transactions from being downloaded again or at least save me the trouble of having to accept and match them again. Also, shouldn't Money be getting the latest and greatest transactions from my bank(today's transactions preferably but at the very least yesterday's transactions)? It seems that my downloaded transactions only go up to 2 days ago. I know that Yodlee provides the direct services for Bank of America. Is this an issue with Yodlee? Thanks, Shawn |
