Default Re: Fidelity brokerage account setup

Unless you can revise the account type, you have to start over and create it
as an investment account. If you have to do that, export all the
transactions to QIF, delete the account, recreate it as an investment
account with associated cash account, and reimport the transactions to the
cash account.

As always, backup, backup, backup. Also confirm you can successfully restore
from the backup before proceeding with the recommended changes. An easier
way may be to not delete the account in the first place. Create an
investment account, import the transactions and confirm they're correct,
then delete. Before you delete, you'll have to revise transfer transactions
to point to the new account instead.

Default Fidelity brokerage account setup

I have a Fidelity brokerage account set up in Money 2003 as account
type "Bank". When I set up online services in Money, it says "This
downloaded account matches:" but my brokerage account does not appear.
How can I set up online services for this brokerage account?

Thanks!
