Sadly, the M04 trial links have probably all been disappeared by now. Maybe
somebody has a copy squirreled away somewhere.

Dick,

Here, here! Love that link ...it says it all. The decision now is to which
product to choose...I hate our Quicken and I can't stand this crap with
2005. Is there a trial of 2004 I can test?

The M05 recommendation is spot on. See http://umpmfaq.info/Money2005.

Alternate word to the wise re. calling Tech Support: Spending Microsoft's
Support budget is one of the few ways to actually get their attention. One
call with one or two minutes spent talking to a live human wipes out any
profit they got from selling you the M05 license in the first place. Too
many of these, and they get the message that the product in question wasn't
what "most users preferred."

Default Money 2005 Passport - Can not Verify

Word to the wise.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH TECH SUPPORT. If you are having trouble getting
your "sign-in information verified," AKA your .NET passport is not working to
log into Microsoft Money its not going to work. I was literally on the line
with tech support for over 2 hours trying to figure this out and i have found
numerous forums on how this is a problem. Dont get me wrong, I originally
bought Microsoft Money because I was impressed with the older version that my
roommate was using, but 2005 has too many problems. It has to do with XP
SP2. If you are going to purchase Microsoft Money purchase the older
version. 2005 is not worth the hassle.
