Way to account for a refinance or change of terms with the same
lender? Read both of these to see two ways described.

you refinance your home

How to Change Loan Payment Frequency
(266028) - When you first set up a loan in Microsoft Money, you can
choose from many payment schedule options, including weekly,
biweekly, and monthly. However, after you complete setting up the
loan, you are unable to change the payment frequency of the loan.

I refied and didn't start making bi-monthly payments until about the 6th
payment. There is no way to fix the problem now. I just enter the payments
and adjust the P&I accordingly.

If you refinanced, twice a month is one of the periods that the
mortgage setup offers.

If you are paying a third party to send in payments to your
continuing mortgage, you could enter that as a scheduled transaction
that is a split: part of it as a principle transfer to the loan, and
part as a convenience fee to the third party.

You can't. I've been trying to do the same thing as I pay mine twice a
month.

After I set up a mortgage pay plan. How can I change to frequency of the
payment and still have the correct loan amounts (principle, interest,
escrows) applied to the appropriate categories? I found an old reference
from past versions that said to use the refinance option. This option no
longer seems to exist in Money 2005?
