I once had an account that, when doing a report by account, refused to be
separated by account, always grouping with the previous one. My scheduled
paycheck, when entered, morphs a one line transfer to 4 or six entries in
the Forecast Cash Flow until I edit the series, edit the split entry--doing
nothing but retyping the amount--and saving the "edited" scheduled paycheck.
Once a week.

Sometimes, there are just these odd gremlins in the works.

You might try the file repair tools--both the Quick and the salv.

No luck. I deleted the transaction and re-entered it. Natural Gas/Oil was
still there. I even tried to delete from categories the "Natural Gas/Oil"
(which i have never used) but *again* same problem.i closed the program,
opened it and money had changed again rent as natural gas/oil on the

That's an odd one.

First, I'd try deleting and re-entering the evil transaction. Do you have
others with this category that do that?

Here is a weird problem with Money. I have been using it for about 2 months
without any problems. Problem is that i have entered on 22.11.04 a
transaction categorised as "bills rent" but everytime i shut down Money and
then i restart it the category has changed to bills:Natural Gas/Oil.

Any ideas how to fix that?
