| Only one of my backups worked, and that was from a week ago. The good news is, that did work. The bad news is that since that time I've gone through a several hour process of fixing issues inherent in the Budget portion of Money. Is there anyway I can get the corruption fixed in my up to date file so I don't have to revert back to that tedious process? Try restoring from a backup. There could be a corruption that the> BTW I cannot reinstall and use my money file without doing an update first. > Money is requiring that otherwise I get a "read-only" error. repair isn't fully fixing. I had numerous crashes when doing online updates - especially when viewing the portfolio - with M2005 that only a restore would correct. I have had NONE since the update a week or so ago. So as an additional troubleshooting measure, restore a backup that predates your onset of problems. -- _______________________ Ed H. |

| I contacted Bank One and they only perform upgrades on the weekend. They verified my requests did hit their servers and reponses were made back. My register does contain timestamp updates in Money, although I do not have any new transactions downloaded since yesterday but that could be okay. Now the question is was there any update to Money in the past 2 days? BTW I cannot reinstall and use my money file without doing an update first. Money is requiring that otherwise I get a "read-only" error. Graham S. "Graham" wrote: - quote - > Just today or yesterday Money 2005 Small Business now crashes when I do an > update. | Just today or yesterday Money 2005 Small Business now crashes when I do an update. This seems to occur only with Bank One so I'm curios to know whether there is a new change that is causing this with Bank One customers. So far I have: - Reinstalled Money. - Removed Bank One form online services which then did not cause any crashes during an update (although it's fun reconciling again and merging accounts). - Repaird the Money file. The response being "Fixed records in online table.". Everytime I try an update I can repair again and get the same response. I'm going to call Bank One Online Services this morning to see if they can give any information. Is there an MVP that knows anything about this or has only that uses Bank One run into this same problem in the last day? Graham S. |
