| Unless you particularly want MS to have your money data on-line so you can access other than from your "normal" PC you don't need to provide a passport. I have resisted all blandishments to do that and have no problems. I use the on-line faculties to get share price updates but that is all I do on-line. -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. | Thanks bob, I am currently having the same problems as others in this news group....for instance....asking for my passport....which i do have but never used for my money program.....no matter how many times i provide it....it tells me that it can not verify y account.....i will try to use the registry example in one of these postings to see if it will then identify this problem or i will not accept the EULA and see if that does the trick.Just bought it yesterday but after reading all these posts.....i am ready to pull the trigger on the refund policy.Furthermore.......support is in India???Cmon, three hours on the phone and no resoulition, then for support to say they will send me support data to my email since that is all they could do.Very disappointed in these events.....but thanks for your response. | When upgrading you don't normally use a backup. On installing the new version of Money it should just pick up the old version .mny file and convert that (leaving you with a backup as *.m12).
