Default RE: Money doesn't stop checking for a deleted account

I'm having the same issue with accounts at a Bank. I had a credit card with
the bank and a savings account. I decided to cancel the credit card once paid
off, but maintained the savings account. I marked the account closed in Mny05
but it is still attempting to download information unsuccessfully with an
error in the summary log. I do not want to attempt deleting the account since
I want to keep the transactions for reference.

I did a backup of Mny05 and decided to remove the online services for the
savings account and then add it back. When I added it back, the online
service created a completly new account instead of using my existing savings
account.

I had to restore the backup.

Default Money doesn't stop checking for a deleted account

I'm using MS Money 2005 Premium.

I have a Starwood American Express credit card account setup in Money that
updates through the online feature. Everything works great. I used to have
a Hilton American Express credit card with a corresponding account setup in
MS Money 2005. I’ve closed the Hilton account down with American Express and
subsequently “closed” the account in MS Money 2005.

However, since both accounts used the same username/password information,
Money still tries to pull down transactions for the Hilton Amex card. Since
it can’t find such account with American Express anymore it issues an error
on the Online Update Results page.

If I log into American Express’ website the Hilton card doesn’t show up
anymore, so it is completely purged from their system.

Is there a way to get MS Money 2005 to stop checking this old and closed
account?
