Since you did not post where you were looking at this data, or what version of
Money you have, or how you set up your accounts, it's hard to be real specific.

But in M2003, when I select the Reports Gallery and then the "What do I have"
option, I see a Net Worth report that shows me, under Investment Accounts,
separate balances for the Cash and Non-Cash account. At the bottom of this
section, there is a line called "Total Investment Accounts" which adds together
the cash and non-cash values.

On the Account List page, the reported value for the investment accounts is the
sum of the cash and non-cash values.

On the individual investment account register, at the bottom it shows separate
entries for Cash Balance and Account Value. The Account Value is the sum of
the Cash Balance + the value of the investment positions.

Did you let Money set up the two accounts, or did you set them up separately
yourself. If the latter, perhaps they are not linked as they should be.

Default Investment accounts shows the gains / losses only

Hi
My problem can be stated thus:
Objective: To find out my total net worth.
Problem: Let's say I have an investment account 'A'. If I have
invested $9000 in the account and the gain in the account is $1000 -
then investment account will show the value of the cash account as
$9000 and the total value of the account as $1000. Thus, when I see
the list of accounts - the value of the account is $1000.

However, my net worth is really $10,000 since I can sell the
investments today and can earn $10000.
I don't want to delete cash account since I also want to see quickly
how much I have invested and what is the gain / loss.
How do see my correct net worth
