This worked for me. I've been using money for three years, and never had
a corrupted database. Today, I had the privaledge of dealing with a
bogus account balance...and your solution worked perfect. It took a few
mindless minutes to delete three years of transactions from the account,
but the solution prooved effective.

Somehow, I had two electronic transfers, scheduled in bills, but somehow
they made their way into the account...but I could not view them except
through notepad.

Anyhow...all is better...after 3 hours of troubleshooting.

Thanks.

See
http://support.microsoft.com/default...13&Product=mny
and expect to proceed to step 3.

Otherwise you can upgrade to Money 2005, which will fix that for
you, if the problem is what I think it is.

Bob

Thanks for that, but my problem is that the balance shown on the Home Page
corresponds with neither today's balance nor the ultimate balance taking
into account future transactions. This is true of only one of the accounts
displayed. There must be some hidden transaction somewhere which is
affecting the balance shown for this account. The remainder of the displayed
accounts show balances which do include pending transactions. Is there some
way I can check which transactions are included in the displayed balance?

Regards

Home page includes debits and credits that haven't yet happened. Have a look
at the account register and there is a thick black line at today's date with
any future transactions under the line.

Default Money 2004 - Displays incorrect balances on Home Page

Hi

I am running Money 2004 Financial Suite. My home page displays a list of the
most used accounts with the current balance of each. I have recently noticed
that the displayed balance of one of the accounts does not match the actual
balance of the account. All other accounts displayed seem correct.

I would appreciate information on how to troubleshoot this. I have tried
File/Repair, both standard and advanced, without success.
