Default Re: Freddie Mac bond

No easy way that I've found out -- as you've discovered, return of capital
doesn't do the trick by itself. I currently do a "sale" -- using the amount
of the return of capital as the amount and 100 as the price. I then have to
remember to delete the price point this creates in price hsitory.

Default Freddie Mac bond

How do you model a Freddie Mac bond in Microsoft Money? Every month I get
interest payments and some return of principle. Interest payments are
obviously captured by Money. I am not sure how to handle the return of
principal every month? I guess I could use return of capital and remove
shares to both indicate incoming cash and a reduction in the outstanding
principal of the bond. Any suggestions?
