Go to Discovercard.com and log into your account. Select download
statements and pick the date range.

Two ideas; keep a copy of your file in case you don't like the
outcome:

1. Disable online access for Discover. Set it up again for online
access. Be prepared to delete duplicates. Sorting by order of entry
can help.

2. Create a new Money file with only Discover account. Set it up for
direct access. Do your download, presumably getting a year's worth.

Export that account to a loose QIF.

Import it into the real file as a statement.

I don't know about these error codes you write about.

I dont need to get further back but, because of the failed attempt, there is
gap in the entries (missing 3 months and picks up again in Sept).I didnt know
if there was a way to specify a date range to retrieve. Is there a log of
the error codes (which Discover says they can work with)?

Discover says the last 12 months are available.

You wanted something farther back than that?

If not, there is another thing you could try.

Not that I know of.

I would just create an adjusting/compensating transaction to catch
up.

Default Discover downloaded statement problems

Is there a way to retrieve data from a failed download attempt from Discover
card? (For example, to specify a date range.) There is a gap (several months)
from the failed attempt and the succesful attempt. Also, is there a log of
error codes to show the failed attempt specifics? I am trying to avoid
having to manually enter this data, if there is another way. This is
2003version. Thanks much.
