Thanks,
Did a little more searching through the supported formats of my bank and
found an "MYOB Accounting Plus" option that use *.ofx format that worked
fine.

No - OFX has been around 1998. OFC was introduced in 1997 but was then
superseded by OFX a year later. OFC was a MS proprietary format but OFX was
supported by Intuit and many banks.

Thanks,
Is OFX a new format for Money 2005? Whenever I select my SW as Microsoft
Money from my Bank, it automatically sends an *.ofc file. I do have the
option of "Other" for my sw which sends a *.qif file but it's less
convenient (but will work as a workaround).

Don

Money 2005 doesn't support OFC downloads - you'll need to use OFX.

With regards the association, downloads such as OFX and QIF are usually
associated with the Money Import Handler (mnyimprt.exe) as opposed to the
Money program itself.

Default Transaction Downloads Failing

I just upgraded Money 2003 to 2005. Downloading transactions from my
Financial Institution worked initially after the upgrade but isn't
working now. This might have been after downloading updates but I'm not
sure. I did notice that *.ofc files weren't associated to Money So I put
and association to msmoney.exe. Now when the file downloads I get a
dialog stating MS Money is already running. Just wondering if I have the
file association right or if soething else is wrong (bug or maybe file
type changed in 2005).

Thanks,
Don.
