I am running Money 2005 without a .net passport. I do not want all of
my financial information on the moneycentral web site. I do not need to
access it from somewhere else. I am not arguing if it is secure or not
so please do not go there. The three accounts that require Yodlee and
passport to download are all available as OFX files from the respective
sites, so I do not see a need to have them automatically downloaded.I
have 6 accounts that are automatically downloaded frm respective sites,
and several that can only be manually entered. All in all to get two
accounts that have very little activity and my checking account that
does have lots of activity does not seem worth having a passport.

In this mode, Money 05 acts like 04 with a few nice enhancements that I
am using.

You can just not use it. You loose some functionality, but depending on what
you want out of Money, nothing to loose any sleep over. I used it that way
for almost a month before I decided it was, for other reasons, basically
evil. Then I returned it and got my money back. For more details on all of
