I would. In fact, do you need Passports on both of the files? If> want to keep separate business and personal files, only view the designated > accounts for each, and use online updates, I need separate passports for > each, correct? Thanks. your FIs do not show "third party" at http://www.microsoft.com/money/bankonline.aspx you don't. And even then there may be a problem if both sets of bank accounts use the same login credentials. I am not sure how that is going to play out. |

| The small business version of Money is able to show business transactions separately from personal transactions. | Quite an old thread but let me ask about. I thought about the solution you ask here…. two separate money files … but my problem is that I have my money in the same account for both Personal and Business (it is an informal thing to much travel getting a new account) money. I need to keep track of all of the money I have but let reports and budget deal with some transaction. What do you suggest I can do? | That may well explain punishing those who did/do. Can you imagine if Microsoft just started taking features out of Excel or Word that most users never use? Styles? Macros? 95% of the function list? Field codes? Cross references? What would be left in either product? They'd be little more than Calculator and WordPad. | Thank you Mark. the actual sequence is: favorites \organize favorites \ reports. Is there a way to delete multiple reports at the same time? | Are you using M05? It's possible this has moved or just been deleted in M05. I'm not using M05 day-to-day, so there are lots of these little easter eggs I don't yet know about. Delete the things in the other file that don't apply. 2. Copy the *.mny file to another *.mny name. Open one and remove the Passport from that file, if it has one. You can add a different Passport to that file if you like, but do not have two different Money files using the same Passport. You do not need a Passport on the files unless you want to do certain things. In either case, you can create shortcuts to each. You can also use the File menu to select which file you want to use.
