As Cal notes, there is more than one way to do this; none of them very good.
See http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=42.

There is more than one way to handle savings bonds.

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;240555 says
"Identify U.S. Savings Bonds as Certificates of Deposit/US Savings
Bond (including series EE and HH)."

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;243177 , on
the other hand, says to enter the bond as a zero coupon bond.

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;197515 is an
older article.

Sorry I don't have an ideal prescription.

Default Savings Bonds

What is the correct way to update savings bond in MM2003 Deluxe? First I
don’t have the option to Identify U.S. Savings Bonds as series EE and HH when
I created the account.

I want to update the real price of the bonds to today’s value and the
accrued interest the bonds have.

Using the Savings Bond wizard on the Bureau of Public Debt Web site to track
the value of United States savings bonds in Microsoft Money has no option to
download or import the information so the balance of the account to match the
current value of the savings bonds is never updated.
