| I am having the same problem. One thing to note...my file has stuff in it from 1996 on, while my Fiance's is from this year. Her's converted fine, while mine is toast. Thankfully, I backed up both beforehand, but I still had to uninstall Money. Does any one have a clue how to fix this? Also, if not, does anyone know how to turn off software updates until there is a fix? Thanks. -David "Starminder" <Starminder[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:832F596D-F7B0-43FA-A56A-942E518A8288[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > I'm having what sounds like the very same problem..it says it is > "Converting > file", displays the error message below, then promptly crashes when you > click > OK. | I'm having what sounds like the very same problem..it says it is "Converting file", displays the error message below, then promptly crashes when you click OK. I was able to restart and create a new file, which tells me my current file is now corrupt. If there is a real fix to this problem, please let me know - thnanks. | I have tried several times to install this new update and still get the same error message. The message is "A communication error occured. Please try your call again. If you continue to have problems call your financial institution's Online Services Customer Support." I thought this update was suppose to fix issues between MS Money and MSN Money in which there was hugh problems. Now, I am forced to re-install MS Money Premium without this update until it is fixed. Fortunately, I backup my files on multiple disks. System Information: XP Professional SP2, Internet Explorer 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_rth.040803-2158, 128-bit, MS Money Premium 2005 Version 14.0.125.724. I tried the new user with administrative rights and it did not work. Need suggestions? Cmbmedic3277[at]msn.com |
