Russ had indicated that this would take a registry patch available from the
PSS site sometime Real Soon Now. It will be more complex or different than
the obvious one I was expecting or there is another shoe yet to drop. My reg
hack on the update did nothing.

It appears Vanguard now updates properly. Also looks like the cashflow
chart is more "granular". Hopefully this upgrade will fix a lot of what
people were complaining about. I haven't been able to find the double
category dropdowns yet.

Downers:
The ads sometimes load, sometimes they don't in planning, taxes, and
investing areas. Investing still has that damn creepy Jim Cramer ad. Money
seems to ignore my preferences. Why should it care, I only paid for the
product after all. I feel sorry for the programmers, they probably would
love to rip the ads out entirely because being of a technical nature they
tend to dislike marketing. But somewhere in Redmond is a middle manager
with the power to keep them in. However, said manager can't make me keep
using this software. I really want to switch from Quicken, but I'm not
getting many reasons. So I have a choice. Sharp stick to the left eye
(Quicken), or sharp stick to the right eye (Money).

I updated tonight, and it had a screen that converted the data file.

I did have on crash already importing some items from my bank via ofx.
Since then everything has been fine.
