I have had the same issue. Funny my ballance is about 20k also. This is
coincidental however. I have found that the biggest issue is that msn money
does not correctly recognize when one splits a transaction. The same result
is found when one uses paycheck which splits the transaction. I found that
the msn server returns the transactions separately and therefore are
duplicated etc.

Another post indicates that a potential patch is due out. Hopefully this
helps.

I have Money05, I download transactions directly from my bank. This was
working fine, balance in money matched the balance at the bank. Once I
switched to the advanced register view in Money, the balance is off by about
20k. Example, bank balance = 500 and money balance and register balance in
money = 20,500.

I have tried a quick repair, reloading money, synching with the bank to get
the updated transactions.

Any help will be appreciated.
