I have a WAMU checking account, Money 2005, and the same problem exactly.
Incidentally, I am also using a money file that I've been upgrading for years
(at least 4 or 5) and using the feature "show standardized payee names..." in
online settings. I've tried it with and without this feature and the result
is the same. Somehow though I have been able to get the number of
transactions to drop from 34 to 30 by using the quick repair feature,
clearing the IE chache, and restarting Money (not necessarily in that order).
There doesn't seem to be a method to the madness.

Washington Mutual Checking Account. Each day, it automatically
downloads transactions and enters them into my register. Most are
matched up with transactions I've entered. Only a few do I need to

Microsoft couldn't have been as stupid as to think we would keep the
