Thanks for the note. All users are encouraged to do their own due diligence,
but I think you've made the right choice. I hope you plan on exercising the
30DMBG. Maybe if enough people do this, we'll crack their thick skulls.

I only wish I had read it earlier. I just got Money 2005 and I was starting
to use it in earnest today. The first thing I noticed was the missing
category/sub-category split option. I searched this group and found a link
to your FAQ. I agree with everything you've said and have already
uninstalled 2005 and reinstalled 2004. Fortunately I had only entered two
new transactions. I'll be returning 2005 for a refund or an exchange. Next
time I'll do more research before jumping into a so-called upgrade.
