| I have this same problem. Doing a salvage/repair did not help. I fixed them all manually and they came back after I exited/restarted the program. It affects some dividends and some sales, but not all. It always seems to reduce the total account value to about the same amount, which suggests that those transactions are somehow corrupt, although super salvage reports no errors in the file. Does anyone have any more info on this? It seems to be a relatively common bug.... | I am also having the same problem (MNY 2003 Deluxe). I recently installed on a new computer and restored my backup. All balances on all my acounts show the same huge negative balance, although when I look at them individually, the local balance and downloaded balance are correct. Has anyone found an answer yet? | I don't have an answer -- but also have the same problem. It did not do it for all Buys and Sells -- just a few for a few investments. I have found ways to change them to sells -- but after some time they revert to payments rather than deposits. If you have any suggestions on how to resolve the issue -- I'd love to hear them. I have not seen any replies to this post -- so please point me to any other Q&A that may address this issue. | I installed Money 2005 Deluxe about a month ago without any problems...or so I thought. While balancing my investments, I noticed that all investment account's cash balances show a substantial negative balance. It appears that during the conversion process, Money 2005 changed stock sells from depositing the associated cash to having made a cash payment instead. Over time this has created a greatly negative balance since both buys and sells are subtracting from the bottom line in the cash ending balance. Does anybody have any ideas on how to correct this? |
