Default Re: Bank of America/Yodlee/Money

I have had a case open on BoA since Sept 18. It has been escalated
twice. I assume it was out of frustration but the most recent email
from them provided extreme details on how to download the OFX files
manual and enter them into Money 05.

Concerning the other items, the banks they purchased are on a different
system and are working fine. It is the one that has been around for
many years that has the problem. They just rolled out the quarterly
update to the web interface. Most of the items can not be noticed by
human, but the changes certainly appear to have impacted the Yodlee.

However, OnYodlee site has BoA correctly handled. Also the MyMoney site
at moneycentral no longer lists Bank of America (All Except CA, WA, ID)
is no longer listed.

I agree with the comment that this seems to show that Yodlee-Money is a
bad idea. But it also appears that the current error probably is no the
Microsoft side.

Good that they've figured it out. What is bad is that Banks buy out each
other all the time. This means that the Bank, Yodlee, Money combination is
always going to be a flakey way to do things. Works this week, but not
next, but works the week after that. Thank goodness for the merge accounts
button.

Default Bank of America/Yodlee/Money

Regarding ongoing frustration with data from Bank of America: I had several
calls into Microsoft about this issue, and after many attempts, the case was
elevated. I just got off the phone with a helpful and affable tech support
person.

I was told that the interface with BofA is problematic since the bank
recently acquired several other banks, and their electronic system changed
on Nov. 1. Since that time, there are problem with the interface between
BofA and Yodlee.

I was also told that Microsoft is working with the bank, and that it should
be resolved within several weeks.
