Default Re: M05D Maxing 800mhz CPU in XP Professional

Hey Kevin,

My situation is... not only max's the cpu, but takes > 2 minutes for the
program to respond. Happens whenever I do something that causes a new window
to open, or to change screens in any way. Also when accepting downloaded
transactions

Thanks for your response - good to know I'm not the only one

Steve
Money 04 here. P-4 1 GB RAM
If I open any of the Menu items... File, Edit, Tools etc. and leave them
open for a second the program maxes out the CPU.
It doesn't really seem to have any major ill effects since the Menus aren't
left open very long.
I don't know why it does this, but it does.

Default M05D Maxing 800mhz CPU in XP Professional

Have been using Money since '99 (Converted from quicken since version 1.0),
just upgraded from 03 to 05D. MAJOR problem is that it max's my CPU (p3-800,
384mRAM, 10GBfree)to 100% for +2 minutes EVERY TIME I ATTEMPT TO CHANGE
SCREENS. Tried everything I can think of including stripping down all
unnecessary background processes and uninstalling/reinstalling the software.
Any ideas? Considering the issues when I converted TO money, I'd hate to go
through that again in the reverse.
