| Hey Kevin, My situation is... not only max's the cpu, but takes > 2 minutes for the program to respond. Happens whenever I do something that causes a new window to open, or to change screens in any way. Also when accepting downloaded transactions Thanks for your response - good to know I'm not the only one "Kevin" wrote: - quote - > Steve > Money 04 here. | Steve Money 04 here. P-4 1 GB RAM If I open any of the Menu items... File, Edit, Tools etc. and leave them open for a second the program maxes out the CPU. It doesn't really seem to have any major ill effects since the Menus aren't left open very long. I don't know why it does this, but it does. | Have been using Money since '99 (Converted from quicken since version 1.0), just upgraded from 03 to 05D. MAJOR problem is that it max's my CPU (p3-800, 384mRAM, 10GBfree)to 100% for +2 minutes EVERY TIME I ATTEMPT TO CHANGE SCREENS. Tried everything I can think of including stripping down all unnecessary background processes and uninstalling/reinstalling the software. Any ideas? Considering the issues when I converted TO money, I'd hate to go through that again in the reverse. Tried everything I can think of including stripping down all unnecessary background processes and uninstalling/reinstalling the software. Any ideas? Considering the issues when I converted TO money, I'd hate to go through that again in the reverse. |
