That bug came and went with, IIRC, M02-03. My case is a different case. The
scheduled transaction doesn't know the flag. The transaction *as it's being
scheduled from an existing item in the register* thinks it has associated
transactions in the other half of transfers when you go to delete split
elements.

I recall if you copied a reconciled or electronically cleared transaction to
the bill schedule, it preserved the C/E/R flag.

Now that certainly wouldn't shock me, either. It may well be a common bug in
M02-M05. It's kind of an odd sequence I'd never tried before.

Dick, I don't think that's new. I actually think it dates back to previous
years.

Default New M04 bug--is it in M05 as well?

Tools|Options|Protect reconciled transactions (or whatever it's called) is
set. R-click add to bills and deposits a register-entered paycheck that is
reconciled and has, on various tabs, Transfers to other accounts. Edit the
transaction being scheduled to delete the Transfer entries. Money complains
about changing a reconciled transaction on the other half of the transfer.

This makes no sense for a change in an item being entered in the scheduled
bills, regardless of how much sense it might have made for the original item
from which the scheduled item was being created.
