If there was a problem with running Money on XP Home SP2, you would
have seen a lot more than one such posting.
The group for Microsoft Money is microsoft.public.money. If you use the MS web interface, they call this "Money General". Also, ignore error messages there that say posting was not successful. It's the detection that is in error.

I currently have the Home version of WindowsXP SP1 but want to upgrade to
SP2 (I have the CD from Microsoft for SP2). There have been problems
encountered according to another response so they switched to the
Professional version of Windows XP SP2. Is this of concern or can I stick
with the Home version of Windows XP for installing SP2?

FWIW, I also installed the "net install" version, not the tailored download
version. Whether this makes any difference, I cannot say.

M04 Deluxe works fine here on XP Pro SP2. The reports seem to be isolated
cases many of which seem to be firewall related issues.

Default Money 2004 Std compatible with SP2?

Is Money 2004 compatible with Windows XP SP2? I have read from other
postings there have been some problems. I do not know if these were unique
to the individual computer or not.

Please advise before I prepare to install SP2. Thanks.
