Tell them to escalate the issue.

That's a bs answer. Makes me want to buy a copy of 2005 just so I can open
a bunch of support calls. Hit 'em in the pocket book.

Don't archive. Too much pain. Precious little, if any, gain. If they told
you that a 23MB file is "too large" they are full of crap. Ask them what
Money limitation it violates. Mine is > 50MB. The problems I had before
punting M05 had nothing to do with this. It's just a crap attempt to close
the call, either through voodoo or through giving you enough other problems
that you forget why you called in the first place.

Default File Size in Money 2005

I am using Money 2004 and bought 2005. After I converted I noticed many
issues. I called Microsoft and they stated that my file was too large 23 MB.
I have been using Money since 1997. They told me to go back to 2004 and
archive my data to get it below 10 MB. Then the conversion should come out
better. I have not archived before and was wondering what all the
disconnects will be when I archive. Does it change the balances in
investment accounts if it can't find the checking account?

Thanks in advance for your input.
