| Hi Greg I have been using Money 2004 Deluxe, and after reading about all the things that are going wrong, I decided to download the Trial Version and so far I have had very few problems. When it comes to Bill Pay, I am still sending the bills through Money 04 and not 05, but I have no problems downloading the data into Money 05 by clicking on the update button. What type of problems are you having, and what do you mean by the link is broken? I have others talk about the backup to floppy problem and yes that is a problem for me. I don't understand why you have to erase the diskette before you can backup. I had also heard that many people had problem with their categories......Again by double categories with the exception of one transferred over just the way they were. I had Dining Out and Groceries as sub categories of Food. After the conversion they were listed as individual categories. Don't know why it happened, but it was easy to change back. All of my account totals and everything else transferred with out any problems. Of course I had Deluxe 04 set up so that nothing was automatically updated, and quit using passport months ago.................and maybe that was the reason that everything transferred without problem. I do like the looks of Money 05 even though it is does basically the same as it had in 04, but the Bill Pay problem you are having has me concerned. Want to resolve that before I purchase 05. | Microsoft Money 2005 completely wipes out the MSN bill pay link. Support people from MSN Bill Pay told me that somehow the link between Microsoft Passport and MSN bill pay was corrupted by Microsoft Money 2005, after the install of Money 2005. MSN Bill Pay support people told me that THIS IS A BIG problem that happening to many MSN Bill Pay users. They cannot fix it on their side, and Money 2005 must come up with the fix. Any word on the progress of this fix? Greg |
