| It looks as though I do indeed have a good OFX file. Reads: OFXHEADER:100 DATA:OFXSGML VERSION:102 SECURITY:NONE ENCODING:USASCII CHARSET:1252 I did go through the file in notepad - just in case I could recognize anything out of the ordinary. All quite straight forward. Also tried opening it with Money Import Handler with Money closed. Same message about communications error. I did save the same statement earlier as a QIF file. This file was imported with no problem. I deleted all traces of any OFX files, downloaded a fresh copy. No change. Same message about a communications problem. Mysteries can be a bit of a challenge. | Although the credit card is not enabled for online services, I did follow your suggestion to remove the bank association. When importing a saved OFX file, now I get an error message that says: A communication error occured. Contact your financial institution. If the credit card is enabled for online access, disable that.> Money/MSN network. Importing file goes to a credit card account. How > does one redirect a downloaded statement to the correct account? [M05]Banking-> AccountTools-> ManageOnlineServices. Click the credit card account, and choose StopUsingOnlineServices.... Right-click the name of the credit card account on the Account List. Select SeeAccountSettings. Select the name of the Financial Institution and press the Delete key. Click Done at the bottom. Now when you download, Money should ask where that statement goes. Select the proper account, which Money will remember. Now you can restore the Financial Institution for the credit card. |

| Using Money 2005, downloaded statement in OFX format from Bank not in Money/MSN network. Importing file goes to a credit card account. How does one redirect a downloaded statement to the correct account? Download of OFX file not a problem. Before this version Money 2005 downloaded OFC files, no problem. Upgraded from a standard version of Money 2004. |
