| I had the same experiance. I have a v v v small LLC but the package was not flexable enough on the invoicing side. I believe that MS would rather have buisness use there Great Plains products for accounting rather then Money 2005 thus the new emphasis on simple home accounting and personal stock management. The new Office Version (Megelen) will include a new accounting program and contact manager. So.. I think that Money will be more "Consumer" orintated and the New office program will offer a better upgrade path to their Great Plains products. When you think of it, it's a good idea. After I accumulated three years of data in Money Small Business, when I wanted to move to a more detailed accounting and billing program I had to reenter everything, It would have been nice to have the data files compatable with a scalable accounting system. Then you could start small and stay small (if that's what you want) or add more sophistication as you grow. | A couple things I need direction on. I will appreciate any help. I am a small business owner and my corporation handles multiple business underneath my main company's umbrella. I am able to create multiple account receivable accounts BUT I am not able to creat seperate invoices for each. The invoices always defaults to the first original account name I first crested. It puts the name on top of the invoice. This is a problem because I have multiple business names. I also can not get the invoce designer to save new templates. I tried altering the proerties of the file that mentioned in earlier newsgroup postings and it did not work. Does anyone know of upcoming of past udates that I can use? Thanks in advance! |
