| Gee, Dick, thanks for the warm reception to the Money forum. Maybe you are the one that should cut back on the caffeine to see if your hair trigger will de-sensitize and give some people the benfit of the doubt. I had tried posting using Microsoft's browser-based access to the Money newsgroup, each time receiving an error message saying that my message had encountered an error and please try again later. I encountered this twice before dropping back to a trusty news reader. Only after successfully posting with the newsreader did the other two previously errored-out posting attempts reveal themselves. | Please just post and go to sleep for a while and see if anybody knows the answer. Posting three times in 17 minutes won't make people who might now read your messages faster. I don't have a clue how to answer your question. I don't download transaction data, nor epay via Money. Your best bet may be to intercept the file and look to see what the bank is really sending. Knowing that, you can train your efforts in the right direction. Cal or others will know more about how to do this. But they probably haven't read any of your posts yet. "C.C. Wilson" <C.C. | I use EPay for most of my payments and all has worked fine for years. (currently using Money 2004.) Recently, some payments are coming down from the bank (after being paid) with a blank payee. The download from the bank blanks out the payee and I have to call the bank to find out who it was. The bank claims the problem is on our end, since they can see who the payee is. It only happens on about one out of every ten EPays. Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot this very annoying problem would be appreciated. Thanks, C.C. |
