| You mean, theoretically, they can fix errors and back-level information in it. I'll bet they don't. I think they just put it online to make the download smaller. I think they are pushing so hard on the download installations to make a precious few more quid for themselves on the sale since they probably don't make a guinea on the $23 copy at Sam's Club. (Especially after I return it for retail+tax+shipping.) Having tried looking there for the neat new M05 Spending Averages, I can say that it doesn't help all that much. | I decided this morning to test my Money Deluxe 2005 program by disconnecting my DSL cable internet connection BEFORE turning on my computer. I wanted to see what inpact that had when I opened Money. Fortunately, Money performed as I had hoped and expected. All my current information was there and shown. When I went to investments it showed the last update was last night when I was last on the computer with my internet connection. Obviously, when I tried a link that I knew would require the internet it showed the cannot connect screen. All this was to assure me that I DO have my Money program working on MY computer and it does NOT need a link to the MSN servers in order to work. FYI. Steve |
