Default RE: mysterious budgeted item

I actually had the same problem. As far as I know this is a bug in the
system. When you make a reaccuring debt/deposit/etc it will stay in money for
perpatude.

There is a workaround though. you can look it up in knowledge base. In a
nutshell you would create a new category named similar (ie rent payments) and
then go into your "bills" section and change the payment to reflect the new
category. You will have to use the "Find/Replace" tool to fix your historical
"rent" to "rental payments"

Hope this helps. I hate money for this exact reason. You would think they
would have fixed this by now. Instead of just adding new gimmicky screen
shots.

Good Luck.

You should be able to zero the budget item and simply leave the scheduled
bill as is.

Let me know if that helps,

Default mysterious budgeted item

My rent is supposed to be $850 per month. Hower, at some point I must have
had it listed as $800 per month. Now, under budget, it's listed at $1650
(800 and 850). I can delete the $850 bill category that I actually have in
my bills list, but if I attempt to edit the $800 bill category it just
brings me back to the budget screen. Is there any way to get rid of this
thing? I have no way to make an accurate budget over time, because it
reports $800 more in expenses than I actually have. Thanks a lot.
