| I finally gave up on Money 2005. After being a loyal Money user since 1997. I have had too many issues that could not be resolved, heck I even reformatted my hard drive in hopes I could get it working. No-one at MS could help me either. I must've spent collectively 25 hours on the phone and 3 different on-line chats trying to fix this HORRIBLE version. I switched to Quicken 2005 Saturday. The Money inteface is nicer but you know what? Quicken works and quite a bit faster I must say. I do not know what it is with MS but they always try and put too much code into their software making it run slow and giving it the potential fro buggy issues. You would have thought they learned their lesson with Windows ME! "FormerMoneyUser" wrote: - quote - > I upgraded from Money 2004. | I upgraded from Money 2004. After having to correct all the beginning balances to get my account balances right, now I am attempting to get the BofA Online automatic download to work. I tried to change the account settings to download automatically, and it creates a new account all together. So I try to merge duplicate accounts and all appears to be correct, then the bank balance and local balance are off. Is there any end to the misery associated with this version... I think I'll switch to Quicken. It'd be worth paying a monthly fee if it actually worked out of the box without all the BS! |
