Default Re: Money 2005 - Automatic Update OnLine at Start UP

I'm not sure it is exclusively an operating system problem. I am having
exactly the same problems as Larry and I installed and still used M05 with
Win XP SP 2. I have no idea what the fix might be.

I think this may be a WinXP issue... I was using Money 2005 with Win98SE and
automatic updates worked (or at least happened) but recently upgraded to
WinXP SP2 and now I too have to manually click the "Update Now" option... I
have also noticed that some settings do not get saved between Money
sessions... for example, the Update Status Dialog that has the "Hide this
window during update" checkbox... well, I click the checkbox and click
"Hide"... and next time I click "Update Now" the dialog reappears. I
haven't done too much research on these issues yet, but I am sure it has
something to do with a registry setting that isn't happening... I suppose,
in order to really test the issue, I would have to have a Win98 machine and
scan the registry for all Money entries... then go to an XP machine and
compare the scan to see what isn't getting saved/read.

Anyone else able to take a stab at this?

Larry

Default Money 2005 - Automatic Update OnLine at Start UP

Option to start statement download when the program starts does not work. I
have to manually click the circle with the arrows button. What is wrong with
the setup?
