Default RE: M2005 Error on log in - "trying to reach functions in Business ver

Just in case anyone from Microsoft is reading this,

I have the problem also. I had Money2004 Deluxe on the computer.

I started out trying to do an upgrade from 2004 to 2005, both deluxe versions.

I get the "only functions in the Business version of Money" error.

I have uninstalled both 2004 and 2005. Then reinstalled 2005. Problem is
still there.

I can start 2005, create a new file, do not set anything up in it, then
close money. Problem is still there.

There is no import of data, no upgrade of 2004, just an install and new
empty file.

I am running WindowsXP wth sp2. I am on a domain and log into the domain to
use the machine.

Being a developer this error feels like an error code is generating a
misleading or incorrect error message.

I have the same problem. It is obviously a serious bug. I sent a
message to Microsoft and I have not received any appropriate answer
yet.

Default M2005 Error on log in - "trying to reach functions in Business ver

I recently upgraded from Money 2003 to 2005 Premium on a Windows 2000
machine. Logon is always full of trials and tribulations. Sometimes it does
not recognize my .net password. Today it's giving me a message "The place
you are trying to reach only functions in the Business version of Money, and
can't be used in the version you are using now. If you want to use this
place you will have to upgrade to Money Small Business."
If I click "OK" it returns to the logon screen. If I try to login again I
get the same message and I cannot log in "offline."
