You neglect to mention that GnuCash requires a different operating system
than most of us use for most purposes. This raises the stakes several orders
of magnitude. You also neglect to mention that there has been some
significant decline in developer contribution to GnuCash over time.

From what I can tell, GnuCash doesn't have all the pretty bells and whistles
like direct online-download, but has most of the basic double-entry/qif-ofx
import abilities plus possibly better reporting/graphing abilities, with
ability to access from multiple computers or something such due to a real SQL
backend.

Something to look at that seems stable and predictable, unlike Quicken or
Money.
