| I'm actually SHOCKED by that answer. I'd re-open the case (since I'm sure they've tried to close it) and tell them to "escalate" the issue (be sure to use that term). That answer is absolutely ludicrous. -- ----------- Joe Guidera jguidera[at]msn.com.remove "CaptnTrpps" <CaptnTrpps[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:0BC8AADF-FB41-41FE-B48B-C67F27C7113B[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > FYI: > Here is Microsoft "Official Response" from the Tech Support Issue I have > open with them: > ------------------------------------------------------------- > Hi Mike, > Thank you for letting me know your thoughts. > In this situation, let's wait for Yoldee's response for a week or so. | FYI: Here is Microsoft "Official Response" from the Tech Support Issue I have open with them: ------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Mike, Thank you for letting me know your thoughts. In this situation, let's wait for Yoldee's response for a week or so. If Yodlee has not resolved the issue by the time that you still have enough time to return Money 2005, then please refund Money 2005. However, please do note that, the data entered into Money 2005 will not be available in Money 2004, as you can check the Knowledge Base article I previously provided: Money: How to Revert to an Earlier Version of Money http://support.microsoft.com/support.../q178/4/65.asp Although we can still export the new account transactions you entered into Money 2005 into QIF files and then import them back into Money 2004, the process can be quite complicated. Therefore, considering that Yodlee might be unable to solve this issue in a timely manner, refunding sooner might be better in our situation. Thank you again for your patience and understanding. I will keep you updated if there is further feedback from Yodlee. Best regards, Microsoft Customer Support Services |

| If anybody out there has the same feelings, about a class action, you can count me in too. I don't know if I have been lucky or what, but until now I have never had this many problems with Microsoft software. The worst thing about the whole situation is that since it is home-use software there is no pressure to get it right. At least with professional or development software Microsoft has to suck it up a little and put a ‘little’ time and effort into the product. Money 2005 could have been written better by a group of chain-smoking, caffeine-addicted, sleep-deprived, chimpanzees chained to a computer. <My name is Mike and I approve this message! |

| Microsoft is FULLY responsible for this piece-of-crap software release. My sincere wish is that a group of trial lawyers sue Microsoft in a class action lawsuit. At a minimum, Microsoft should be forced to turn over several hundred million dollars to a group of REAL software designers who focus on accounting matters, rather than advertising matters. Then we can get a product designed for, uh, the consumer (me) rather than a bunch of advertising hucksters (Microsoft and all of its affiliated third parties), who don't care diddly-squat about producing quality financial software. Geez!!!!! |

| I have been fighting with Money 2005 for over 2 weeks now. Since all the new online services in it come from a company called Yodlee, Microsoft is pawning off all online issues on them saying that they do not know when they will be resolved since it involves a third-party. I contacted Yodlee, was able to get in contact with the Vice President of Marketing and was told that they cannot comment on "co-branded" software and that "all support would have to come through [Microsoft]." That took me back to MS and then the guy I was working with told me that I should just get my money back. I will say that after being a money user for 4 years now I will be switching to something else. I think an abacus and a paper ledger would be more reliable then MS Money 2005. <My name is Mike and I approve this message! |
