I agree that would be ideal /if/ the user /wants/ to use XP password
management in Money. I, for one, do not. Many other correspondents here
don't, either. If it were integrated, it would have to remain optional at
the program level.

They should have integrated this with XP's password management
features so that signon could be automatic -- that little extraneous
button click with the password already filled in is annoying. Poor
ergonomics: making the user do an extra step for no reason.

Only if you want to use Passport for your file password. The program looks
like it's a requirement. That's true only if you want to sync with the web
or use the new banks that don't support Money directly. If you don't want
to, click the work offline (or whatever it is) button to bypass Passport.
