Do you have a *.m11 file on your disk? Don't lose or overwrite it.
That would be a copy of your Money file from before you converted.


Can you work on your file offline using either the old or new
passport?

Can you restore a backup that used the old passport while
disconnected from the Internet?

I don't feel confident in this area. Make copies of your files and
keep notes of what is what.

Yesterday when I loaded money it gave me a popup with an offer for an
upgrade to Money 2005. I tried to accept the offer. but when I was about to
complete the offer I noticed it had an old email address. This was the email
address that was in MS Passport. I no longer have the ISP that is associated
with that email address.

I didn't want to complete the transaction since I wouldn't be able to
receive emain at that address. So I went to MS passport and tried to change
it. It wouldn't let me change it so I deleted that passport account and made
a new passport account with my current email address.

When I tried to load money, it wouldn't load because it said "The sign-in
name you entered is not associated with this file". I tried using the new
email address I had created, it wouldn't load. I used the old email address,
it wouldn't load. I tried disabling the internet and using the old name, it
still wouldn't load.

Am I screwed or is there a way I can get Money to load so I can access my
file?
