This is different from the behavior of older versions that asked you to tell Money what to do with newly found accounts. This is problematic because one might have a good reason why they do not want certain accounts held at an on-line accessible financial institution automatically added to the Money file. (E.g. One has separate Money files for business and personal accounts held at the same institution) . Please update Money to again ask what Money should do with found accounts that do not match existing accounts in the Money file. | Re: Updating financial institution information My understanding is that this information is now held centrally rather than in your local copy of Money. | Re: Updating financial institution information Account List / Manage Online Services Then there is a link by some of your accounts "Check for new online services" When I go there though it says I'm offline and I cannot get a list. | Updating financial institution information With Money 2004 you could manually tell Money to update/get information about financial institutions on-line support. This seems to be automatic in Money 2005. What triggers Money 2005 to go out to financial institutions and get a list of on-line manageable accounts for example? |
