I don't think it really matters though - just makes your register twice as long. | Re: How to enter reinvestment of dividends I would rather use reinvest dividend, but it always downloads as a dividend and a buy with all the Investment Outfits I have used (Morgan-Keegan, UBS, and Fidelity). So I gave up and did it their way. I don't think it matters. I would be interested in others' opinions. I never actually see the money, as it is reinvested by the mutual fund company. If I use reinvest dividend, will it show up as investment income.
