| I agree, it's a little annoying that they send it as two separate transactions. Not all brokerages do that. I don't think it really matters though - just makes your register twice as long. | I would rather use reinvest dividend, but it always downloads as a dividend and a buy with all the Investment Outfits I have used (Morgan-Keegan, UBS, and Fidelity). So I gave up and did it their way. I don't think it matters. I would be interested in others' opinions. | I have been entering as 1) dividend then 2) buy However, in my income vs spending report, this is showing up as investment income. Is this correct? I never actually see the money, as it is reinvested by the mutual fund company. If I use reinvest dividend, will it show up as investment income. The question actually is "What is the correct way to do this?" Thanks |
