| Money files are not backward compatible. You'll need to either restore a 2002 backup for locate the *.mn10 file that was created upon conversion to 2004 and rename that back to .mny. This is the 2002 file as it was pre-conversion. | A few weeks ago i've installed the trial version of money 2004 on my father in law's PC (Win '98). My father in law started working with it After the end of the trial period we uninstalled money 2004 and replaced it with money 2002. the problem we are facing now is that, when we want to open the money 2004 file, which was NOT password-protected in Money 2004, Money 2002 asks for a password. I have tried several (a lot) password crackers to get the PW but they keep reporting that the fil is not password protected.... Anyone any bright ideas?? Thanks in advance!! Bernard |
