| Are you both using the save version of Money - or did someone update recently? "Mike" <Mike[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:F0FDAE4C-D888-4AAA-9AF9-69B9C16E1E89[at]microsoft.com... My business partner and I have been sharing backup copies of our Money data files for years. We both have Money 2004 Standard installed on our machines and are both running with XP. Suddenly, my partner is being asked for a password to restore the backup file I provided him - I am NOT asked for a password on my machine. The only thing I can think of is that I recently registered for a .NET password but did NOT use it with Money. Does my partner need to register with .NET in order to see my backup file? Suggestions how my partner can open the backup file? |

| My business partner and I have been sharing backup copies of our Money data files for years. We both have Money 2004 Standard installed on our machines and are both running with XP. Suddenly, my partner is being asked for a password to restore the backup file I provided him - I am NOT asked for a password on my machine. The only thing I can think of is that I recently registered for a .NET password but did NOT use it with Money. Does my partner need to register with .NET in order to see my backup file? Suggestions how my partner can open the backup file? |
