That would be way too obvious! <g
Thanks, Cal (And sorry for the duplicate post. I got an error the first
time, and didn't think it had gone through.)

This is the same concern that caused me to dump Investor with its latest
upgrade. I had no desire to place my personal financial information on
Microsoft's servers just so I can look at it from anywhere. It just seems
like an unnecessary risk (small risk or large - doesn't matter) to force
that on a consumer in this age of growing identity theft.

I wish Microsoft would figure out that this is one product line they
shouldn't be playing Big Brother with.

How do you undo the passport signon once you've assigned it to a Money file?
I'd love to go back to a simple local password.

Thanks!

How do you undo the passport signon and get back to a simple local password,
once you've activated the passport signon?

Thanks!

The easiest way to not have your data on the MSN or Yodlee servers
is to not have a Passport on your file.

That limits some things you can do as a consequence.

Default Privacy concerns

I am beginning to get concerned about the privacy issues
associated with using Microsoft money 2005. I have no
interest in running Microsoft money on another computer;
and I don't want my financial data being sent from my
computer. It sounds as though they are creating a complete
copy of all the data when they say they are sending
information to make it possible to access from other
computers. I would like to know exactly what they intend
to send back and forth and if there is a way to disable
these "features." If data has been transmitted I would
like to know where and how to make sure that it is removed.

If anyone could point me in the right direction it would
be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff
