Default RE: Requires Microsoft Money Small Business?

I can't believe this - I too am experienceing the same exact problem. A
money file I have been working with for over 5 years and now they've screwed
it up.

And to topit all off, apparently an issue known to them since this original
post in Octiber and still no fix.

I too installed and eventually received the download. I tend to leave my
computer on with Money open and started recognizing the problem a week after
install. Got the download and still rpoblems. Somehow - not sure how - I
got the file open again and I thought all was good. Not so. again, the same
issue - M05 now says the place I'm trying to reach only functions in the
Business version of Money. What the hell are they talking about? Do they
even Beta this stuff anymore before releasing it to the public?

After being a loyal customer to MS for over 5 years , i too will be trying
Quicken this time. I could not even use their mail support utility because
they did not recognize my PID number.

Poor testing, poor support, poor product.

Anyone every find a fix for this?

Ok, this does not appear to have anything to do with the upgrade. I
uninstalled, and then reinstalled without converting my old file.

Installed, started new file, accepted the download update, then when I go to
open the new empty file it gives me the same error message. But the data file
has nothing in it.

Anyone have any idea's? I have a msn passport that I am entering, could that
be a problem?

Does anyone have any idea's on this?

Is this a logon problem, known upgrade problem, other issue?

Default Requires Microsoft Money Small Business?

I have been using MSMoney 2004 Deluxe. I attempted to
upgrade to MSMoney 2005 Deluxe.

After converting the file, Money downloaded an update.

Then I closed the file, and restarted.

Now when attempting to log in I get the error "The place
you are trying to reach only functions in the Business
version of Money, and can't be used in the verion you are
using now. If you want to use this place you will have to
upgrade to Microsoft Money Small Business"

It then goes back to the logon screen.

What requires Small Business? Is there any way to disable
that? I can't think of anything that small business
provides that I might even want to concider using.

What is going on?

Phillip
